Honors students broaden their worldviews through study abroad programs, international internships and global research opportunities. The Futures Hub serves as a vital resource for navigating the complex paths beyond the classroom. This dedicated team supports honors scholars in unlocking the full range of opportunities available at the U of A and prepares them for their next steps—whether applying to medical school, refining their resumes or finding opportunities to engage on campus.
The Honors College offers competitive grant funding to support research, study abroad, internships, professional development, leadership experiences and more. These grants empower students to take on ambitious projects, explore the world and build skills and confidence for their future.

College, the Undergraduate Research Symposium spotlights student-driven inquiry across
disciplines. Leading up to the event, students can take part in panels, workshops
and one-on-one support designed to sharpen their skills, focus their research and
connect with mentors.
