Build skills, connections, and your résumé

Internships

Honors College students have access to a wide range of internship opportunities—but the best place to start is with your own interests and goals. Think about what excites you and which organizations align with your aspirations.

You’ll find internship resources on this page, but often the most effective approach is personal: talk to professors, advisors, and professionals you know, and reach out to organizations that interest you.

Internship Grants

Domestic internships connect you with potential employers, while international internships grow your cross-cultural skills. Competitive grants can help fund your experience—and make your resume stand out.

Take the internship that launches your future

Domestic Internship Grant

The Domestic Internship Grant helps students take advantage of unpaid internships in fields where wages are not typically offered—like government, non-profits, law, medicine, and entrepreneurship. If funds remain, students taking paid internships out of the region may also receive travel and housing costs. Funding is limited and not all applicants may receive full support.

Before funds are released, you must submit a letter of acceptance from your internship employer.
